Banana Technology Ltd Terms of Business

 

      Definitions:

      Banana Technology Ltd, hereafter referred to as “the company”, “us” or “we”.

      Any person, persons or organisation entering into a contract with the company for

the provision of services and/or the sale of goods is hereafter referred to as “the customer”.

      Any computer or peripheral device repaired or serviced by the company is hereafter referred to as: “equipment”

      Any product or material supplied by us is hereafter referred to as “Goods” or “The Goods”

 

All goods remain the property of the company until payment is received in full.

 

Labour is charged at a minimum of 1 hour, subsequent hours are charged in 15 minute blocks. We may charge an additional fee to cover travel expenses if the customer is more than a ½ hour journey away, this fee will be agreed with the customer before work commences.

 

Payment in full is due on completion of work unless a credit facility is in place before work commences. Credit facilities are only available to business customers by prior arrangement.

 

Any Equipment left for repair at our premises will not be released until payment is received in full.

 

All credit facilities will be withdrawn and any goods for which payment is outstanding must be returned to us immediately in the event of bankruptcy of the customer.

 

All new goods come with a minimum 12 months return to base manufacturers warranty unless otherwise stated. This does not affect your statutory rights.

 

Second user goods come with a 30 day return to base warranty unless otherwise stated.

 

Our liability with respect to any faulty equipment or goods supplied by us is limited only to the equipment or goods supplied by us; we accept no liability for any loss or damage suffered as a result of faulty equipment or goods supplied by us. 

 

We accept no liability for any loss or damage which occurs due the installation by us of any equipment or software supplied by anyone other than us which turns out to be faulty.

 

Whilst we take every precaution to ensure no data loss occurs as a result of any repair or maintenance performed by us, we cannot be held responsible for any data loss which may occur as a result of any repair or maintenance, it is the customers responsibility to ensure they have an adequate backup facility in place.

 

We will rectify a fault labour free if it reoccurs within 30days of the original repair, this guarantee excludes virus/spyware infection, if the fault reoccurs due to any changes made to the equipment by any person other than one of our staff or if the equipment has been repaired by another person or company since the original repair. We will not refund if we are not given reasonable opportunity to rectify the problem.
